Dr. Lang, a lifelong Indiana resident, graduated from Indiana University in 1986 where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He went on to graduate from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1990. After medical school he completed a three year residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Immediately following residency in 1993, he joined Family Physicians of Carmel, Inc.

Since graduating from medical school Dr. Lang has had experience in other aspects of medicine as well. He was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He served the school by working in an outpatient indigent care program for two years. He has also worked seven years in local emergency rooms and immediate care facilities.

While he enjoys all aspects of family medicine he has particular interest in preventative medicine and pediatrics. He continues to see newborns in the hospital.

Dr. Lang is married and has three children. His interests outside of medicine are golfing, gardening and coordinating a large ministry through his church.
