Dr. Crabb was born and raised in Indianapolis, attending North Central High School. He then received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Purdue University. He attended Indiana University School of Medicine and graduated in 1980. This was followed by a three year residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Crabb has been with Family Physicians of Carmel since 1983.
Dr. Crabb and his wife, Sherri, met while she was working as a nurse in the ICU at St. Vincent. They have two children who are involved in sports and musical activities. Sherri is a wildlife rehabilitator, so there are always lots of animals at the Crabb house, besides the usual cats, dogs and horses.
Other interests include golf, tennis, fishing, Bible study and other church activities, and being outdoors.
Dr. Crabb has a special interest in surgery and diseases of the skin, treating high cholesterol and other cardiovascular diseases, and orthopedics. |
